Have you or your child accidentally subscribed to an app? Or maybe you haven’t unsubscribed from an unwanted app because you think it will be too complicated.
Here’s some good news: it’s easier to do than you think.
This works for iPhone, iPad, and Mac with apps that have recurring fees, like language-learning apps or a subscription to Apple Music or Apple TV+.
It does not apply to one-time or in-app purchases or services like your Netflix subscription.
Watch this video to see how easy it is to find and cancel subscriptions on your iPhone.
Where are my subscriptions on iPhone, iPad
To find the subscriptions on your iPhone or iPad:
- Open Settings.
- Tap on your name at the top of the list.
- Tap Subscriptions.
This will bring up the list of active and inactive subscriptions on your device that were either purchased from Apple or with an app from the App Store.
To cancel a subscription on your iPhone:
- Tap on the active subscription.
- Tap Cancel Subscription.
- Confirm the cancellation.
Cancel subscription on Mac
You can also find and cancel subscriptions on your Mac computer.
For apps on your computer:
- Go to your Account Settings in the App Store.
- Find Subscriptions.
- Click Manage.
- Tap Edit next to the subscription.
- Click Cancel Subscription.
In some cases, the subscription won’t end immediately. Instead, it will end when the subscription window you paid for ends.
